NEGLECTWARE

Software humans wouldn’t create.

What this is

Neglectware makes niche software for professional audio, broadcast and media preservation. These are tools too specialized for a big vendor to build, so nobody builds them.

The code is written by Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, working in Claude Code. The direction comes from Mark O’Brien, whose decades of hands-on work in the field supply the requirements, the measurements and the judgment of what is right. Every product here is AI-written and human-directed, and we say so plainly.

The AX330G editor: a blue hardware-style panel with a green LCD, input and output knobs, and a row of eight effect slots in a signal chain.

AX330G

An AU and VST3 plugin that emulates the effects of the Korg Toneworks AX30G and AX300G guitar multi-effects units. Each effect was measured on a real AX300G, modeled from those measurements, and tested against recordings of the unit. No firmware was read or copied.

Compressor, 3-band EQ, chorus, stereo and modulated delays, and reverb, in an eight-slot chain you can reorder, with preset banks and an editor built around the unit’s LCD.

  • macOS (AU, VST3)
  • Windows (VST3)
  • AGPL-3.0

Unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Korg. Korg, Toneworks, AX30G and AX300G are trademarks of their owners.
